Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt To Host Bigg Boss 5

Colors’ Bigg Boss is up with its fifth season and this time around, it offers us a double bonanza of not only a strange amalgamation of celebrities but also a great ‘pair’ of host. Yes, this time Bigg Boss offers us not one but two host, a prospect seen for the first time in the history of reality shows. It will have both Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt as hosts.

A source said, "We wanted to do something innovative this season apart from the strange melange of celebrity participants. We stumbled upon the idea of having two hosts on the show. Salman, a hot favourite with the loyal viewers of the show, will be joined by good friend Sanjay Dutt. It will be double dhamaal and fun on the show."

Bringing two A-list Bollywood stars will only give the already hooked viewers, more reasons to watch the show.

Talking about the development, Ashvini Yardi, Head of Programming, Colors, says, "With both Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt as

hosts, we are sure that Bigg Boss Season Five's popularity will touch great heights. Given the way this show has been performing over the last four seasons, this year we plan to cash on the chemistry and talent of Sanjay and Salman."

The two stars are more than happy to be a pair of this venture together.

Salman says, "I enjoyed working on Bigg Boss last season and received a lot of positive feedback from fans and well-wishers alike. I think it's a great move by the channel to also sign up Sanjay Dutt for the upcoming season. It can only mean one thing for the viewers – more excitement and a different appeal for this season."

Commenting on his television debut, Sanjay Dutt says, "I am extremely delighted that I am making my foray into television through a show like Bigg Boss." He further added, "I loved watching Salman host the last season. I thought he was mind-blowing with his sense-of-humour and inimitable style."
